Dashney Nordic Center at Burke Mountain Resort

Dashney Nordic Center features 15km of trails groomed for classic and skate skiing through woods and over fields. Trails are open for skiers of all levels. It also has a place at the center for dogs and training areas for the Burke Mountain Academy Nordic ski team. It offers lessons and ski rentals.

Trail Passes: $15 (Full day), $10 (after 2pm)

DASHNEY CENTER NATURALIST SNOWSHOE TOUR:

• Thursday, February 21st:  10am – 11:30am
• Join Northwoods Staff and explore the woods, tracks, and trails around the Dashney Nordic Center.  $15/person includes trail pass.

MOONLIT EVENINGS ON THE TRAILS:

• Sunday, January 20th
• Friday, February 22nd
• 6:00 – 9:00pm.  The Dashney Nordic Center will be open for the evening hours on these BIG MOON nights. They‘ll offer some tasty treats and warm drinks.  Half-price trail passes and rentals. Headlamps recommended.

FOR KIDS (AGES 8 – 14):  Pizza Party, Night Hike, and Campfire.

MEET OBERON THE OWL.

• Learn about the owls of Vermont, cool adaptations, and meet Oberon, a live barred owl.  At the Burke Mountain Hotel & Conference Center, Witherell Room, 7-8pm; $10/individual, $20/family.

Dashney Nordic Center is pet-friendly however, please refrain from using Sugarwoods and Shortcut if you are snowshoeing or have a pet with you. Please be a responsible pet owner and encourage your pets to do their business off-trail.
