Grand Junction – Grand Mesa Nordic Council

Grand Mesa close to Grand Junction has three trail systems which are open to guests for classic and skate skiing: County Line, Skyway, and Ward. The Grand Mesa Nordic Council Trails are in-charge of grooming the 50 kilometers trails.

The Skyway Trail System welcomes classic or skate skiers. Nearby the trailhead is a place where lessons and races are held.

The County Line Trail System is the most preferred by families as it has a safe parking facility. It is also perfect for classic and skate skiing.

On the other hand, the guests who love backcountry skiing may opt to choose Ward Trail System. Lakes such as Mesa Lake, Ward Lake, and Griffiths Lake are great for snowshoeing off-trails.
