CRESTED BUTTE – CRESTED BUTTE NORDIC
Known as the Nordic ski capital of Colorado, Crested Butte offers more than 55 kilometers of groomed trails. It is located in the outskirts of town and wind through the backcountry through Aspen groves and pine forests.

Equipment such as snowshoes, cross-country skis, and ice skates are available for rent at the Nordic Center. You may also apply to cross-country ski clinics or use the outdoor ice rink for free. If you are looking for more fun and adventure, you may try an overnight trip in the national forest trails.

Alley Loop, one of the famous races held in February is also hosted by Crested Butte. Racers of all ages and skill levels are eligible to join the race. They ski the streets and historic alleyways that creates a festival-like atmosphere.

  • Learn to Ski Package (1-hour, Classic): $60
  • Private Lesson (1 ½ hour, Classic/Skate): $70
  • (Learn to Ski & Private Lessons may be reserved as family, group, couple, or individual; trail passes and equipment are not included)
  • Skate Clinics: $80/ person (minimum of 3 person in each clinic)
