Ridgway – Top of the Pines

Top of the Pines has seven kilometers of well-groomed Nordic skating and flat-track skiing. It is located on Sneffels Range’s foot in Southwest Colorado. This 175-acre area is the ideal place to explore the beauty of San Juan.

The Nordic skiing center offers outdoor recreational activities to visitors. It has an outdoor recreation area, open space preserve, and educational base camp. There’s a new snowshoe trail that can be seen from the parking area. The trails are open from dawn until dusk. You can also enjoy a rustic warming hut at the campground area in the main building pavilion.

Only the tracks of wild animals and skiers on the groomed trails are allowed that’s why bringing fury pets are not advisable. However, it is allowed on select days.
