Silverton – Ski Kendall Nordic

Kendall Mountain Recreation Area offers cross country and downhill skiing, ice skating, sledding, snowshoeing, and other winter fun. It is open all the time and is free of charge! The 2.5 miles of cross-country ski trails of Silverton Town Loop offer a picturesque alpine and village views.

Although known as the West’s “Cheapest Ski Area,” the Kendall Mountain Ski can give you an excellent skiing experience. You can enjoy the 950-foot rope ski lift which is available from 11 in the morning to four in the afternoon from Friday to Sunday and holidays. A gentle slope for kids is available too.

Moreover, there is an outdoor ice rink. If you are still looking for more adventure, you can try the tubing hill. Be ready then to hike up for old-fashioned fun.
